Album Description Limited two CD pressing of the Britpop band's 2008 album featuring a bonus enhanced CD containing seven live and studio recordings plus two enhanced videos. You Cross My Path is the 10th album by the Indie legends fronted by Tim Burgess and has been hailed in some quarters as their best album since 1999's Us And Us Only. Recorded in Los Angeles, Ireland and the band's own Big Mushroom studio, The Charlatans new set was produced by the band along with longtime collaborator James Spencer and mixed by Alan Moulder. Includes the singles 'Oh Vanity' and 'You Cross My Path'. Cooking Vinyl.

CD of the Decade October 11, 2008 This is the finest cd that I have heard by any band in over a decade. Up there with their first two releases but with more energy than either. A little New Order a bit of Stone Roses and alot of the Charlatans. "This is the End", "BIRD", "Mis-Takes"..... how does this music not sell in the US? It doesn't get any better.
Album of the year August 30, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you happen to like rock music and haven't bought any "CD" in 2008, well this is the one you must get. The Charlatans make a bold statement on how a band should sound and perform these days. With the special edition discs you get a sample from both worlds; their spectacular return to studio and samples of peaks of the band performance during recent tour dates. If you're a fan be sure to complete your collection no matter if you downloaded the songs before, i'm sure it's worth it. Without mis-takes, this a timeless piece of history in music.
