Dean Martin has a wonderful voice. I love this CD it's so Italian it makes me want to pore a glass of wine and sing along.

Dean Martin was always eager to be a Pop Star, have radio hits, and be beloved. He sang with a Bing Crosby croon, a European angst, and a grin a wink that others still try to emulate. Elvis Presley, the so-called rebel, took Dean's deep throated swing to tenor and lows and made his ballads a fine copy..just listen to Elvis's early attempts. Pure Dean.
This is a compendium of Dean's Italian songs. Dean always sounded comfortable with the dramatic lyrics of an Italian love song, even more than contempory compadre Frank. + Dean had humor that others couldn't match. Frank Sinatra may have been the consummate saloon singer, but Dean was the best at making people at ease.
This CD gathers bunches of his Italian amore signatores. There are the hits, "That's Amore", "Return to Me", + cannelloni like "Innamorata" and "Come Back to Sorrento".
