4 out of 5 stars MAKE ANOTHER ONE   August 14, 2008
without another VOL.2 of this hits album ( One that has the 80's and 90's stuff and maybe "one shot to the body, and she's so cold" ) this album is really pointless. It's good but needs another. The rolling stones still do not have a later day hits album. STILL. Another volume of this would be PERFECT.Why set on the 80's and 90's song's hit albums. The rolling stones DON'T need the money. Cd's are going out real fast, so they better make the money off "VOL.2" real FAST. So listen-up RECORD COMPANY and MICK.

The Stones Rock! What a great collection!!! Can't go wrong with the STONES!

4 out of 5 stars REMAKES AND OUTFAKES!   January 7, 2008
I think this is really a good CD, very well mastered, however it reminds me very much of "the CD "Remakes and Outfakes" The Rolling Stone tribute CD on
Amazon!

5 out of 5 stars A great 18 track collection of Stones classics from the years 1971 to 1993!!! Rock On!!!   August 4, 2007

This is a great collection of Rolling Stones classics from the years 1971 to 1993!!! Okay not every hit from that time is is on the disc, but it's still one hell of a collection, most of the BIGGIES are here!!! Some of the great classics contained on this great disc are:Brown Sugar,Wild Horses,Beast Of Burden,Tumbling Dice,Miss You,Start Me Up and many more great rockin' Stones classics!!! Some more obscure hits are also included here such as Harlem Shuffle and Hot Stuff!!! This would have been probably better done as a 2 CD collection,so classics such as Happy,Can't You Here Me Knockin',Ain't Too Proud To Beg,Time Waits for No One,Shatterd,She's So Cold,Hangfire,Little T&A,Rip This Joint,Heartbreaker,Dance Little Sister and so on could be included!!! But even with it's faults,it's still a five star collection, excellent 20-bit remastered sound quality!!! Maybe a larger collection will be released someday, but for now, this collection will have to do!!! Five stars!!! A+

5 out of 5 stars The best of the era   July 9, 2007

The bset cuts from, arguably, the best years of the Stones. If you are Stones fan you probably have most of these on other albums, however now they are all together for you, just pop in the cd and you've got eighteen of their best. A shame, however some longer versions of the songs aren't here, like Waiting on a friend...the long version has some incredible sax solos by Billy Keys. The one downfall of strictly studio cut albums.
Forget the iPod, just play the entire CD!
