Product Description The premier household name in melodic hard rock returns with a vengeance! Whitesnake is back with "Good To Be Bad", their 10th studio album and first in over a decade. This brand new album features a slew of instant-classic Whitesnake songs that are destined to stand side by side with such favorites as "Here I Go Again", "Still Of The Night" and "Fool For Your Love." Led by world-renown vocalist extraordinaire David Coverdale, "Good To Be Bad" is truly classic Whitensake, displaying that rare combination of high class and kick ass that has made them what they are today... the absolute best!
Album Description The brand-new Whitesnake album "Good To Be Bad", a masterpiece consisting of eleven songs & featuring all the important trademarks of the band, as well as a fresh breeze courtesy of Coverdale's fantastic voice & current line-up. Good To Be Bad is pure & unadulterated Whitesnake, a classy recording that really doesn't require a more detailed description. The new album sounds so unmistakably, typically Whitesnake says David Coverdale: "For me, the heart & soul of Whitesnake remains the same."

Whitesnake's Come Back Worth Your Money! September 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Most old bands from the 80's and beyond eventually end up missing the time in their life when they were rock stars. So they get back together and slop together some crappy tracks and capitilize on you buying it with the hopes that it would sound ANYTHING like their old stuff...which it doesn't. However, this is NOT one of those cases. Whitesnake (now made up of David Coverdale and 4 other all-star guns for hire) have come out with a stellar attempt to appeal to the current rock scene WITHOUT sacrificing their signature style and sound. In fact, as one other reviewer mentioned, it sounds as though they listened to the entire Whitesnake catalog before making this album to make sure this album fit in just as nicely.
"Call On Me" is a the standout track in my opinion with its driving riff and epic chorus. "Lay Down Your Love" is another example of the classic Whitesnake guitars and wailing vocals of David Coverdale. "Good To Be Bad" "Best Years" "A Fool In Love" and "Can You Hear The Wind Blow" are also great rock anthems. "All I Want All I Need" will take you back to the power ballads of Whitesanke such as "Is This Love" and "The Deeper The Love". In fact this track even goes out of its way to be a little more 80s sounding in its delivery.
Lastly, for all of you who miss the shredding of Steve Vai off of the Slip of The Tongue album, the solos on this album are INCREDIBLE and are very much in the style of Vai and Adrian Vandenberg from the classic line-up. The solos on "Best Years" "Call on Me" and "A Fool In Love" actually impressed me so much that I was wondering why Doug Aldrich hasn't been more recognized. His shredding is nothing less than spectacular. In conclusion, if you buy this album as an old Whitesnake fan or a new one, you won't be disappointed.

Heavy guitars, mind blowing vocals. I want to eat pie and come all over some honey. Buy it for sum fun. Women love to be serenaded. This is Whitesnake the original(STILL OF THE NIGHT) reincarnated. Excellent indeed!!!!! Trust me junior, if you like to get laid :)
Is it the 80's again? August 29, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm pretty impressed by the way these songs sound. David Coverdale can still sing like it was 20 years ago and he found musicians that sound as if they were on the Whitesnake and Slide it In albums. My only disappointment would be the lyrics. He tends to repeat the same versus over and over as if filling the songs. But the catchy riffs and rythym section make up for it. I was surprised to find that my CD had a bonus live CD attached that contained some old Deep Purple tracks too. If like classic Whitesnake, go get this!

Great CD - rectified metal with one of the greatest UK rock singers of the 70's & 80's. Whitesnake is back in the groove with a new powerful crew and the best of the best - David Coverdale !!!
Never felt compelled to write a review till NOW. August 18, 2008 This CD was a shocker.I listend to this CD twice back to back and was still impressed. With all the other reviews saying how good it was i had to check it out. If all the other 80's bands could recreate the sounds they used to have like Whitesnake has done here, then maybe we wouldn't have to listen to all the depressing rock songs on the radio anymore. I just wish radio would play some of it. Now i will wait for the new Tesla release.
