1st CD I've purchased in Years-AWESOME! August 14, 2008 This is the first cd I"ve purchased in a long time and I love it! I got it just because I wanted 1 song but I ended up loving most of them. Great price and worth the money!
Surprisingly good rock album August 9, 2008 I heard one of their songs on XM. To be honest, I can't even remember which song it was but it made me want to check out the album. I'm glad I did. The album is good. They sound a lot like Shinedown. The best song on the album is On Our Way, a tribute to the bands favorite artists of late. Other great tracks are:
Sinner, a great rocker with a catchy chorus So Long, rocker where the lead singer changes his tone to influence the power in the song. My Life, has a great guitar line leading the song in an up tempo pace Wasted, a ballad type without being soft that has great vocals that make you sing the song over and over
Good album with some really good songs on it. I bought the whole album instead of downloading just a couple of highlights because I didn't want to miss out on any of it.
How Far Have We Degenerated As Musicians And Music Lovers? July 21, 2008 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
i'm at work and my boss subjects me to mainstream music all day, everyday. i'm a musician and i have patience. i know that not everyone likes everything. i can appreciate ignorance because, of course, where would companies like Virgin be if it couldn't thrive on horrible bands like saving abel? when sa's song "Addicted" came on the air i just couldn't help myself here. i'm not going to say that it's the worse song i've ever heard, but that's only because i can't think of the worst at the moment. i will say that as a human being that loves the art that this world has had to offer so far, these people should be ashamed of themselves. from their album cover to their lyrics, i can't think of anything, but that these people actually live and breath and make a lot of money in the process. can you think a worse sin? there's no point in mincing why singing about a girl orally pleasing the singer and still talking down to her is just horrible. this band sucks. you know it. i know it and Virgin knows it. but this is what Virgin records does. i just wish i didn't have to hear this crap on the radio.
GREAT CD!!! June 30, 2008 I bought this and Stereoside and LOVE them both. I play the, non stop. SO nice to find some good rock bads out there.
Great first CD! May 30, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a great CD, first song to last. Saw them live at the Beale Street Music Fest in Memphis in May, and they put on such a great show. Jared (lead singer) has an awesome voice, and great stage presence. The CD is well mixed too. If you like rock with good a chorus, you'll be pleased!
