| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Should several of the tracks on the 25th anniversary edition of Thriller find their way onto your MP3 player, you're going to have to admit: the music holds up. "Beat It" is not about to go stale, at least not without a rumble, and neither are "Billie Jean" and "P.Y.T." Even if you put the record-hurtling hits aside, you're still left with the realization that without MJ, there might not have been a JT [Justin Timberlake], never mind a Ne-Yo (listen closely to "Human Nature" and "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'"). The bonus DVD bundled with the expanded CD includes a digitally redone version of the famous title-track video, among other clips, and it still astonishes with its choreography and attitude. As for the new tracks--Fergie inserts herself into "Beat It," Will.i.am takes on "The Girl Is Mine" and "P.Y.T.," Kanye West remixes "Billie Jean" (with characteristically subtle brilliance), Akon duets with M-Jack on "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'," and the unreleased ballad "For All Time" (from the original Thriller sessions) is shined up and tacked on--they will suck you in like it was pop music's hugest year, 1983, all over again. Start brushing up on your moonwalk now. --Tammy La Gorce

As a FAN of MJ.... June 2, 2008 Well you know what you are getting, the best albun ever, is nice to see those videos again, and hear the music again.
thriller: thrilling the world May 9, 2008 With all the drama surrounding Michael aside, he is a complete legend. It is amazing how After 25 years this album could still be so popular. Michael Jacksons thriller is an American constitution, something all humans on earth should hear. The only thing i don't like about this 25th anniversary is they used "will i am". "will i am" should not be on a Michael Jackson album. With hits like "Smooth criminal", "thriller", "billie jean", and "beat it" it is clear Michael Jackson is a LEGEND.
Onto the track by track review:
1~ Wanna be starting something [4/10]
this is my least favorite track on the album. I just have a hard time following the lyrics. the beat is really good though, thats where the 4 stars comes from. I would recommend this track to anybody who likes to dance. you could dance the night away with this one :)
2~ Baby be mine [10/10]
Maybe its just because i am in complete love with a girl at my school, but this song melts me. The lyrics are full of expression, Michael must have had a very special someone when writing and/or singing this song. his voice is wonderful here, his singing is top grade. Let me touch ont he lyrics again: this songs lyrical content is 2nd best on the album next to "thriller". The lyrics express what every person in love feels, and says what we all want to say but don't have the courage.."baby be mine"
3~ the girl is mine [10/10]
I just gave this song a chance, because Paul McCartney is my least favorite beetle. But i should listened to it earlier, paul McCartney shines on this gem. the lyrics to this song are amazing, and consist of mostly "The doggone girl is mine". This is a good track to listen to once you finally get that special someone you love. Not much else to saya bout this one, just listen to it for your self.
4~ Thriller [50/10]
There is no review needed for this song.
5~ Beat it [9/10]
One of Jacksons masterpieces. Has a really great guitar riff in the beginning. The chorus is addictive like cocaine, and the lyrics are aggressive and forceful. It sounds to me like Jackson mixes singing with a hint of rapping. The only reason this song gets 9 stars is because it is really short, WE NEED MORE. oh yea, i forgot to mention the guitar solo in this song is TOP GRADE
6~ Billie jean 10/10
This song is one of Michael Jacksons best. Very refreshing and brilliant. The beat is almost as good as the lyrics. I am in love with the bridge and chorus
7~ Human nature 1,000,000,000,000,000/10
Ok, this is the best song on the album, and my favorite song by Michael Jackson. This song hits my top 5 favorite songs of all time, probably my second favorite of all time. I can't put what this song means to me into words, i recommend this song to all, everybody needs to listen to this song.
8~ pretty young thing (P.Y.T) 4/10
I can respect this song musically, its a good song, but i personally don't like it too much, it will get 4 stars for being a decent over all song.
I'm not going to review the new tracks, they all suck IMO. But this album alone, is amazing. EVERYBODY GET IT
Thrilling! May 4, 2008 Hey, it's MJ, nuff said, in addition you get a dvd with good videos and also a live performance of Billy Jean, dang! off da chain!
Video Disappointment April 10, 2008 Very disappointed to discover that the music videos cannot be downloaded into iTunes so that I can also watch them on my iPod. -- Or at least not with standard download procedures.
Thriller 25 April 5, 2008 This CD was fantastic! I Love it. The new songs are great, and I even like the new "The Girl is Mine" way better than the original. Michael Jackson was ahead of his time, and the Thriller 25 collection proves, that his music is timeless.
