Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
Worldwide, RyanDan are attracting a broad, popular audience and the duo is receiving wide acclaim, particularly for their ability to match their striking voices perfectly in pitch, range and tone. Ryan and Dan's inarguable good looks and magnetic personalities are firmly backed by their astonishing four-octave vocal ranges and their ability to write equally dynamic music. As former members of the Juno Award nominated group B4-4, they are already multi-platinum selling artists internationally and in Canada. Produced by Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue, Paul McCartney, Take That), the twelve tracks on RyanDan are a fresh beginning for the twins as they define their vocal maturity. The new CD leads off with the emotionally stirring ballad "Like the Sun." The international hit, which was composed by English folk-pop legend Judie Tzuke (who also wrote the album's uplifting "High"), showcases from the outset the brothers' unique vocal blend--particularly their complementary tone and phrasing. The remaining 11 tracks that make up the album RyanDan, were culled from 50 songs recorded and produced by Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue, Paul McCartney, Take That) at London's State-of-the-Ark studios in Richmond, Surrey. Owned by Terry Britten (famed for writing Tina Turner's breakthrough hit "What's Love Got To Do With It"), the album was recorded using a sound desk previously employed by The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Rolling Stones--and a microphone frequently used by Frank Sinatra. "I'll Be There" is another stand out track, thanks to a gospel choir backing the twins' soaring vocals on the Jackson 5 classic. But two songs have special significance from a personal standpoint. The intensely operatic "The Prayer" is their mother's favorite song on the album, and was recorded for her after she was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (the diagnosis also catalyzed the sons' return to their musical roots and the ensuing new phase of their music career). Their mother's huge formative influence is further noted by Ryan: "We're both very open and introspective--we get that from our mother." They wrote the album's last song, the poignant "Tears of an Angel", in honor of their young niece when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent chemotherapy. Sadly she passed away late last year.

Album Description
2007 album debut from the Canadian identical twins with voices of angels. The young men are so similar in look and sound that it's often difficult to pinpoint exactly which brother is singing a particular part. The album was produced by Steve Anderson (Kylie Minogue's long-term musical collaborator), mixed by Ren Swan (Il Divo/KT Tunstall) and recorded in a private London recording studio owned by Grammy winning songwriter Terry Britten (Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It"). With a vintage Neve sound console once used by Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles and a microphone used by Frank Sinatra, the album combines Pro Tools technology and vintage recording equipment to beautifully create the rich orchestra accompaniment required for RyanDan's unique voices. The emotion with which they sing is undeniable and clearly evident during the recording process of this album. Universal. 2007.

5 out of 5 stars They are the next best thing since ILDIVO & Manilow   September 11, 2008
I really enjoy the range they get from only 2 voices. I hope they come out with a DVD of one of their concerts, especially after viewing the short clips on their web site. I will buy another CD when they make one.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely Amazing   July 27, 2008

Ryan and Dan Kowarsky (aka RyanDan) are identical twin brothers with identical 4 octave voices that blend together to make the album you must have. The Pop Classical sound of songs such as "High", "Like the Sun", "The Prayer" and "I'll be there" is memorising to listen to. The whole album is excellent from beginning to end. You would be well advised to add this album to your collection.

4 out of 5 stars Great Harmony   May 23, 2008
Here in Australia RyanDan are unknown and I took a chance based on the track samples on Amazon taken from the Album. It was a fantastic suprise. For the twins to have such different styles of voice. It was amazing how the blended them together to perfection. Bring Him Home from Les Miz was just haunting. The Prayer was very gentle and yet powerful in the emotional style. We have a local artist Anthony Callea who took the song to No 1 here so have heard it many times, yet these guys brought a fresh view to the song that made you want to hit the repeat button.

I really recommend this album to anyone who likes good quality male voice. I look forward to the next album!

5 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT!   May 23, 2008
RyanDan transport me into another world with their music. I love each and every song. This CD is definitely a full meal of music. Each song is another delicious course in the meal. "The Prayer" and "Wind Beneath My Wings" along with each of these beautiful songs lifts me up out of this every day grind world. I look forward to the next RyanDan CD. I am so grateful they are sharing their talent with the world. It has made a difference with me. Their voices are absolutely amazing!
