I like to hear the old style music of Rod Stewart. Now I can listen to it. The sound is clear. the set up is easy. The Rod Stewart rocks....
 Can't beat it for the price June 16, 2008
A portable turntable that runs on batteries, is lightweight, has two headphone jacks and a pitch control, AND plays 78's...this baby rocks!
Now, I had the same issue that many had with the face plate coming unglued and rubbing on the records while playing. But, I simply put some super glue in there and haven't had a single problem since.
I originally bought one of the Crosley portable turntables and it quit working in the first two weeks, so I returned it and got the Numark. I've been happy ever since.
A final word--this isn't audiophile quality. But, for under 100 bucks, you're not going to get that from any turntable.

Mine came today and I was very excited because I have a fair number of 78s and this is one of the few reasonably priced turntables that will play them (or is so advertised...)
Unfortunately, it is junk. The top is coming off just like noted in some of the other reviews, and either the belt is loose or the motor is shot because it not only does not play at a consistent speed, but even if it did it would not be at the right speeds...with the pitch compensation at a full 10% positive, it barely reaches the stated rpms. I tried both 33s and 78s, and the AC adapter.
Now I am going to have to go to the hassle of returning it to Amazon and waiting for a (more expensive) replacement. I sure doubt it will be a Numark!
Turntable with a very well quality May 19, 2008
I was searching a reliable turntable, I found this item some days ago, this is a good device, it have headphones conecctions and Red and Yellow Audio ports too and buttons to fit some features like Audio, Tone & Pitch; you can choice the differents speeds to 33, 45 and 78 rpm, the sound is great, can take advantage of their portability, great Turntable for the price. Although Numark forgot to include it an automatic arm.

Excelent product. I connected to my computer easily, could play LP's, 45's and 78's, has speaker; earphone connection, does not need pre-amplifier and once you get the music in your computer with a program like Audacity or DAK Editor you can copy, edit and put into Wave or MP3. Highly recommended for the price, if you're a high tech person this might not be that great but for must of us it works perfectly
