Awesome experience! June 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As I've always believed, Madonna is queen of all disco, pop, techno, club, etc. She's on the ball. Madonna knows exactly what we all want...love! She gives it to us in her music and performances.

just get it... the best album by Madonna. Again..... get it! By the way, if you like it, don't forget about the Confessions Tour. NEAT!
Similarities May 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I like the dance tracks on here. They remind me of why I started liking Madonna in the first place. Some songs sound similar to her earlier stuff though.
My Confession May 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It took me 3 years to give this CD a good listen. Well worth the wait.
Think, dance, enjoy yourself! May 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's such a pleasure to review this album after Hard Candy came out. 'Confessions' speaks so much about the time Madonna went through after American Life and delivers as an uplifting CD as Like a Prayer did in the eighties. The lyrics my be straight-forward, but they are truly deep and meaningful. I think the best proof about this would be 'Jump', a song about overcoming your fears and soaring to new heights, being it professional or emotional issues. The closing track is an amazing way to end such a brilliant album. Like or Not is one of the sexiest and most confrontational songs ever done by Lady Ciccone. I love this in-your-face statement better than American Life (song) as it seems so cynical and sincere. Even though 'Confessions' is addressed to the dancing floor, it still holds sing-along appeal, which is one of the things we love so much about pop. And it's a great album to go with your work out. Ha!
