Hannah 'rules' the house! June 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For her 10th birthday I got my daughter Hannah Montana The Best of Both Worlds. Now I'm singing it becuase it hasn't stopped being played. Consequently, I've bought a wig, organised a TV show, changed my name and will be on the road soon with my own show! And I'm a father!
Great CD June 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The CD is great, all the right songs, high energy. The DVD was disappointing, it only had 2 songs and a short clip of "backstage life". Seems like a waste of extra materials to create such a small DVD. But my daughter loves it and it made her birthday party a success!
Concert DVD? More like concert tease! June 6, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
For my daughter's ballet recital I bought her The Best of Both Worlds CD and DVD set. From all the commercials and hype we heard about it I thought I was buying the whole concert DVD. No one was more disappointed than Hanalore when she popped it into the player and saw only 2 songs and some behind the scenes crap. She watched it once and WON'T watch it again. I think she's actually a little hurt. She wanted to see the movie a second time while it was in theatres but I talked her into waiting for the DVD since it cost us over $30 to get in. The Cyrus camp has lost a little appeal for me as a parent with this stunt as well.
Ashamed but Favorite Uncle June 5, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
As an involved Uncle, I am called upon to shape my Niece's music choices. Unfortunately, she likes little of what I choose for her - despite the critical acclaim for what I know to be excellent music. I am ashamed to admit that in a bid to garner a little affection from my 7 year old niece, I bought her this CD/DVD - and received both a hug and a kiss! You can't fight City Hall or the Disney Marketing Machine.
Hardly a "combo"....more like a CD with cheap DVD freebie!! June 4, 2008 12 out of 14 found this review helpful
This is sold as a CD and DVD, when in reality it is more like a CD with one of those freebie DVDs thrown in with little on it! If this was made clear in the details so be it, you get what you buy...but when it implies you get a concert DVD, there is an issue! The "concert DVD" is actually little more than 2 songs and a photo collection - quite frankly it is pretty worthless!! The CD is great for HM fans with all the favorite songs and that is worth the price alone so I think I would have been happier if it was sold like this as my little one was excited to sit down and watch the DVD...then after little more than a few minutes wanted to know where the rest was! The title of the item is misleading. But if you want a CD with a bonus...this is for you!
