Great Picken May 13, 2008 I've never been too interested in classical guitar in the past. I heard a song of his a few times on XM jazz and decided to check the rest on line. I ownd two of his CD's now and they're both really good. A great change of pace from rock and regular jazz.
The best Jesse yet May 13, 2008 I own a few of Jesse Cook's cds and this is my favorite so far.It has a great mix of fast and slow moving pieces and a few lyrics thrown in as well.

This is an amazing album, the one you expect from a well developed artist like Jesse Cook. The first five pieces are astonishing, but above all "rain" is simply a blue marvel. If youre looking for a new fresh flamenco music take it.
Underrated talent - an act you must see March 16, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This CD is even better than his previous - especially when you see him perform it live. His magnetism, stage presence, and fellow artists are rich in entertaining culture. Its amazing what he can do to others recordings such as Dylan. Looking forward to many more performances and CD's from Jesse Cook.
a dfiferent side of Jesse Cook October 5, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Different than his other CDs, more introspective, more feeling. A good range from the very upbeat "Matisse the Cat" the smooth "Cafe Mocha", the driving beat of "Havana" to the most tender feeling guitar solo I have ever heard, "Alone" which I could listen to endlessly. But that's the quality that describes Jesse's music, you can never get enough.
