A decade out of date. November 4, 2008 Card games are easy to program. Graphics needs are minimal, and there is no need to optimize processing speed. Yet there is polish which could and should be added to such software, this is badly lacking from this (and I suspect all Hoyle's) game. The background music is atrocious, usually just three bars repeated on a continuous loop. The dialog from other players is generated pretty much and random, leading to being told 'That was the hand to win' when you just bought a pot full of antes in Poker. Game AI is very simplistic, leading to computer poker players calling when they are bluffing and other stupidities. The games are a decent bit of fun. But this is $5 bargain bin software, not something you should ever pay full price for.
Game Lover March 23, 2008 We love card games on the computer and this one is fun. The one issue I had as an adult; I don't like the goofy characters they have programed. That's not a real issue just a preference.
Awesome card game of fun October 17, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great card games with a wide variety to choose from. It is also fun to make different charecters. The only complaint is that they don't always talk back to each other when you push their buttons, but oh well, you still have fun!!

I love playing these games and sometimes can't pull myself away from the computer.
fun card games January 18, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Has many fun card games and the characters add to the realism. A nice touch is being able to create your own character.
