Product Description Death Jr. and the Science Fair of Doom brings back Death Jr, Pandora and the crew for a new adventure on the Nintendo DS. It's time for the annual school Science Fair, and DJ has gotten into another mess. He & his pals have unleashed Moloch into the school itself -- now they need to clean up the mess before DJ's dad finds out. Use the DS touch pad to execute cool scythe combos & switch between Death Jr. and Pandora. Help DJ, Pandora and the crew stop Moloch, save the school and keep out of trouble!

Death Jr is a good game on DS August 12, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've never played the Playstation verions of this game. I own the DS version & found it enjoyable. There are some places in the game where I was stuck.. but eventually figured it out. If you want some light fun. This is the game for you. If you dont like swinging from hooks & learning different jumps.. find another game. If I had to make the decision to buy this game again - I would. Good luck with your game of Death Jr!
Death Jr. takes a dirt nap June 17, 2007 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
After making a few solid appearances on the PSP, Konami's Death Jr. makes it's debut on the DS with Death Jr. and the Science Fair of Doom. The end result though isn't anything special at all, and in fact if you enjoyed the previous outings on the PSP, prepare to be disappointed with this DS entry. Playing as the son of the Grim Reaper, Death Jr. is a platformer with a great sense of charm, but because of the limitations of the DS' hardware, the fully 3-D environments are instead transformed into that similar of a side scroller with 3-D models. This works surprisingly well and gives the game a great overall look. Sadly though, just about everything else about the game goes downhill from this point forward. The sloppy controls hinder what could be simple platforming and combat elements, not to mention the touch screen and stylus features are cosmetic at best. What really kills Death Jr. is that the game is boring for the most part thanks to the repetitive enemies, level designs, and searching for souls. Once you finish the game, there are some multiplayer options that become available. The multiplayer games themselves are actually more fun than the main game, which you'll probably get too bored with to bother unlocking them anyway. That being said, Death Jr. and the Science Fair of Doom is a rather lacking platformer for the DS that just ultimately fails. If you enjoyed the PSP entries, you may want to check this out, but for all intents and purposes, this game is best left on the shelf.
