5 out of 5 stars Great for a multiple Xbox home and vacations.   November 2, 2008
If you have multiple Xbox consoles in your home, this unit is a must have. I have two systems, one in my living room and one in my bedroom, so playing games or streaming movies from my computer is ultra easy, thanks to this memory unit. At half a gigabyte it holds quite a bit of game saves and your profile so you can take it on the road to friends or relatives houses and still accumulate gamerscore. It's a great unit for travel and migrating your profile, but just remember that it should not ne used as a substitute for a hard drive, because although half a gig is great for game saves and profiles it cannot be used for large amounts of dlc or any movies.

3 out of 5 stars Extended Brain   October 8, 2008
Now I can take my Halo3 profile and destroy souls anywhere. Plus, it's so much lighter than the 360. However, with advances the way that they are, could there be a larger capacity? 2G seems just fine.
SQ!

4 out of 5 stars Good product. Highly overpriced.   October 4, 2008
Recommended, only if you need it for games saves and profiles. Comes with an Arcade game, but can only be accessed while the unit is in the slot. I got this for a little over $[...] new. Any higher and I would look the other way. Only purchase if the price is less than $[...] new.
Hopefully next generation Microsoft will allow for memory sticks via the USB ports.

3 out of 5 stars watch out for static electricity   October 1, 2008
This 512MB Unit is great for saving your stuff if you have to share your xbox 360 or want to carry your file to a friend's house.

It's overly price for a device with low memory storage, but still gets the job done. However, compared to other major electronic retailers, Amazon offers the best price for this unit.

On another note, be cautious for static electricity as a result from rubbing your feet against the carpet, it can erase everything stored in it.

4 out of 5 stars Nice but way overpriced   August 30, 2008
I have to agree with most of the other reviewers, this thing costs what a 16GB USB thumbdrive costs and I'm pretty sure it's basically the same thing inside. It's sad that you can't use standard USB devices as memory units but this thing does what it's supposed to...
