1 out of 5 stars Lasts for 5 Minutes NO GOOD!   December 1, 2008
The Quad dock looks nice and I was hoping it would work. They charge really fast but the charge only lasts for 5 minutes.

4 out of 5 stars So Far So Good   November 22, 2008
i took a chance on buying this since i had seen some reviews that made this seem lackluster but there were quite a few more saying it worked perfectly fine and for the price i figured why not give it a try. i really didnt want to continuously be buying batteries for the remotes, thats ridiculous and i dont know why Nintendo didnt make THEIR OWN rechargable dock that would have solved so many problems! but so far this product seems to be working fine. i think that i might just take the time to unplug the dock when i have the Wii in use so maybe that will help with keeping any major problems that might arise at bay. it has a conveniant button on the outside of the battery packs to sync the remotes when you need to, so instead of having to open the original ones up to sync them you have easy access to it. and it also has the option for just putting the battery packs in the charger so you dont have to take the strap off (which you need to if you want to put the whole remote in the charger) so i might just do that from now on seeing as how its a tad bit more conveniant. havnt had a chance yet to see just how long the batteries really do last but i will try to update on that later. overall, so far, the product seems to be a good buy.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent product; great price.   November 22, 2008
I bought this product to maintain the four Wii remotes used with our game, and have not been disappointed.

1 out of 5 stars Not recommended!   November 21, 2008

As others have mentioned, this charger plugs into the Wii's power supply and then to the Wii. First of all, according to Nintendo, it is not an authorized accessory and using it may void your warranty.

Secondly, having it connected to the Wii will make some games freeze! That's what happened to my Fifa '08. At first I thought it was the game disc and ended up spending $15 for a replacement disc. Since it still didn't work, I ended up sending the Wii to Nintendo twice for repairs, without any luck (with the negative side effect of having to be without it for two or three weeks each time). Finally, speaking to tech support, they asked if anything not made by Nintendo was attached to the Wii. When I told them about this charger, they said to unplug it immediately, wipe all of the saved games and tournaments and restart the Wii. That did it and now the game runs fine; except that we lost all of the saved Fifa games and other related stuff. They only recommend using rechargeable NiMH batteries.

4 out of 5 stars Good for a quad   October 31, 2008

I would have to say I like having all 4 of my remotes being charged at the same time. It would be better if they made it so that it could charge just the battery pack without the remote. Also there needs to be a slot for the wrist band to come out because it is usually in the way. Its great I would suggest it to all, I only put the things that could be better not to make anyone think its no good but to let others know that there is always room for perfection.
