Yup, it's a stylus and does what it is supposed to do....but it is way too fragile. Peach snapped off of the top within a few days of use. I like the wrist strap for the stylus because my daughter is always dropping it in the car...but the stylus is too big for a child...it's even too big for my hands as an adult. I feel like I'm holding a chunky pencil (the kind you first learned to write with) when I use this. Not worth the money!

Got this for my 4 year old and it is really cute, the only drawback is that it does not fit in the stylus slot in the ds.
