No instructions, but none really needed November 11, 2008 I didn't really test out the difference between the standard Wii connection and these cables. I plugged them in and they worked! No instructions included. match the color coded cables up to your tv jacks and you should be good.
Can't quite tell if it does what it said - increase resolution October 18, 2008 Looks okay, supposedly allows the full resolution of the Wii = 480p - to show on your HD screen. It's tough to tell unless you do a side by side test, which is not possible, considering I don't have two Wiis or two HD TVs. But the picture is good.
HD vs. SD Cables October 17, 2008 I only have the sports package which are older games. I can't see any difference in the screen image using the HD Cables vs. the standard definition cables.
Same quality for half the price September 29, 2008 Every bit as good as the "official" Wii HD cables, but about half the price. They even look almost identical, and function just fine. Save yourself the money and buy these instead.
This is an incredible product September 12, 2008 I actually didn't believe what difference this component cable can make over the standard Nintendo cable. The Wii setup immediately recognized the 420p resolution. I have Samsung LN40A550 and it recognized a feed of 720p resolution. Opened the Opera browser, and that's where you can see the real difference. It was a superb difference to read the web pages clearly without zooming in. With original cable at 480i resolution, the fonts appear smudged. But the new one was extra clear. One must definitely give it a try.
