Too difficult for preschooler October 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this game for my 4yr old son who is quite good at many DS games above his age level. This one though was TOUGH and he lost interest bc you really need to be able to read to understand how to play the game. There is a lot of interacting with the characters that he may like as he gets a little older, but not a lot of active game play which he enjoys. There is a LOT of reading in fine print, which gave me a headache as I was trying to help him. Looks like it would be fun for older (7-10) year old kids, but not the first timers learn to play DS game I thought it would be.
You need good eyes to read the printing. October 14, 2008 I'm glad I got this as a deal of the day and did not pay full price. I mainly do brain challenge type games so I wanted a bit of comic relief.
The characters are cute but you don't get all of them at once. I mainly wanted Pooh Bear and it may be a long time until I get him as I cannot read most of the commands, the print is yellow on gold and small most of the time.
Disney knows the DS screen is small you would think they could make the print the same as in the other games.
It's Fun! September 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this game and my kids love it too. It is very funny to try to meet each of the Disney characters. You can play with them, sing, dance, sleep and a lot of activities.

i bought this game because of the reviews that 3 yr old can play, it was ok for my son little bit hard, but he liked it, i just wish they start selling ''early educational games'' for little kids too, other than that fun
Fun for the family March 24, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
My daugther recieved this game for easter and this is what she had to say: This game I would have to say is overall worth five stars.
Well, the graphics were well done. The characters look just like the characters in the movie. All the characters worlds were well done and really relate to the characters. The images aren't blurry or anything.
Plus, its easy to move around.I had to trouble navigating through the house.Any person could easily move around the worlds.
Also, the adventures are fun.For the most part they are simple. The memory games can be tricky for little ones.So you could just right down the anwsers somewhere. But it's great to interact with other characters during the adventures. At first you may not understand the game but you understand after you play it.For me I cannot beat the game with Dory where you have to find the teeth.Thats what I am having trouble with but I may beat it by the time someone reads this.
Also, there is stuff to do through out the week.Tuesday you get honey for Pooh.Thursday you feed Pudge with Stick.Friday Simba gets a dung beetle. And Saturday Dora meets in the sunken ship with members of the "Fish are Friends not food" club.
Plus, the holidays are great. The weather can change and you and your friends can celebrate holidays.
The shop is pretty cool. You can buy all kinds of items for your friends.
There is so much to do.You can create songs, take pictures, paint pictures and play an extra game with your friend.
If you cannot read the basics you may need help with an adult. In order to enjoy it you must be able to read at a first or second grade level. They are simple words though. But you dont have to read it.Like you can ignore it but you wont understand adventure instructions.Mostly volume is needed for this game. You need to understand your friend! You can talk with the microphone to your pal or select words from the word bank if its too loud ot speak.
First you start out with Stich. He gets hungry quickly but sure makes me giggle. Then you get Dory. She is confused easily and gets hurt frequently. She can be a little sassy sometimes. After you get Pooh.He gets hungry kind of easily. After he eats he needs to be washed with a sponge.Lastly is Simba.I find he gets tired easily. He doesn't really eat much but gets bored rather quickly. This game is focused more on bonding and caring for your pet. They dont die or run away.
Some say it is similar to nintendogs but I have to agree and disagree. The concept is the same but its set up differently.
Overall I have enjoyed this game.Once you get the hang of it,its really enjoyable.I recommend it for fun with the whole family. It is great for long periods of time like trips and stuff.Really its pretty good game.
